The Pinot Grigio is a wine produced in Veneto, Friuli and Trentino regions, it was for many years one of the wines more “fashionable” of Italian production and still today it’s very appreciated.
This wine has a bright yellow colour with lightly golden tones. The nose is intense with ripe yellow fruit notes reminiscent of peach and apricot and tending towards an almost tropical fragrance. The fragrant alcoholic notes with nuances of crusty bread and acacia honey, complete this wine, bestowing finesse and substance to the bouquet.
Pairings: enjoy this wine with hors d’oeuvres, soups, herb risotto and fish dishes. It can also be served as an aperitif.
These days the Italian Ministry of Agriculture is approving the DOC to this wine to guarantee and protect the origin and quality of the product.
